What is Will on the Hill?

For the past 20 years, STC's annual Will on the Hill (WOTH) benefit has raised critical funding in support of the theatre’s arts education and engagement programs, which reach students and community members at home, at school, online, and at STC theatres. Joined by Members of Congress across the aisle and celebrating the works of Shakespeare, the bipartisan event has become a mainstay in the Washington, D.C. community. WOTH has served as STC’s very important branding event with the Congress of the United States. Several Hundred Members of Congress and the Executive Branch participated in WOTH over the years since its inception. Likewise, top Congressional bipartisan Leadership were the annual Honorary Chairs of the event throughout its history, with hundreds of Congressional staff members serving on the WOTH Hill Advisory Committee.
