Welcome to STC School Programs! We are so pleased that you are interested in sharing the joy and transformative power of theatre education with your students. If this is your first time hearing about us, we’re so glad you’re here! If you’ve worked with us in the past, we’re committed to continuing our partnership. Building on the success of last season’s new and revamped School Programs, we remain committed to offering quality programming—virtual and in-person—that brings theatre to the classroom and classrooms to the theatre.
We are pleased to offer three tiers of engagement based on your needs with the goal of creating a SEE/LEARN/TRANSFORM exchange between STC and Schools.

Building on the success of last season’s new and revamped School Programs, we remain committed to offering quality programming—virtual and in-person—that brings theatre to the classroom and classrooms to the theatre.
We are pleased to offer three tiers of engagement based on your needs with the goal of creating a SEE/LEARN/TRANSFORM exchange between STC and Schools.
- SEE: Our Matinee program invites students to see our professional productions performed just for them. Matinees are a great opportunity to introduce your students to live theatre and/or integrate it into your curriculum.
- LEARN: Looking for more? We offer performance-based Workshops on everything Shakespeare that are customizable and tailored to meet your goals. We also offer bilingual programming for English Language Learners. Virtual options are available!
- TRANSFORM: Our highest level of engagement—a Residency that puts Shakespeare and the classics in action. Over the course of ten sessions, an STC Teaching Artist will visit your classroom and work with your students to unpack Shakespeare plays and rebuild them in a way that incorporates student perspectives—all while exploring themes and characters, acting and language, and design and performance.
