STC Salon 24/25
“Theatre can’t happen without an audience. It comes to life in the moment. It is experienced by those who haven’t been involved in its creation. It can burst into life and make something happen that is mysterious and special and entirely unexpected.” — Sarak FrankcomWant to dig deep with others into STC productions and how they come to life? Join us as a Salon member and go behind the curtain and into the script. In each six-week session, participants speak one-on-one with the artists who create the work onstage. Meet the actors, directors, and designers as we dissect the choices made and the impact on the audience during special access group dialogues and experiences.
In STC Salon, we unpack the process of theatre making with world renowned artists and make space to listen to your questions and impressions of our productions. We share conversations about what STC does and why it was done. We reflect on the magic of storytelling of each play STC brings to life and each Salon member brings their own lived experience to the conversation.
STC Salon meets on Wednesday afternoons from 1-3pm at Harman Hall, 610 F Street NW. Additional free STC events included with sessions, as available.
- Individual sessions are $499 each
- Season subscription $2,499 (savings of 20%)
"The behind the scenes experience of the Shakespeare Salons is amazing. In a small conversational setting meeting with the full range of those who make this magic happen, we end up with a greatly enhanced theater experience." — Beth Marcus, Salon Member
