Free Will

Free Will provides qualifying organizations with group tickets at no charge, and aims to work with these organizations to welcome their constituents to experience performances in STC’s spaces. The Greater Washington Metropolitan Area hosts incredible community and social service organizations that perform extraordinary work. Recognizing that there are a variety of obstacles that might make it challenging for the communities they serve to attend live theatre, STC has removed at least one barrier: cost. STC is honored to invite these organizations and their communities to enjoy live theatre as a way to support and celebrate their work and the people they serve. Who can participate in Free Will? Free Will groups are selected through an application process. Priority consideration is given to community and social service organizations with missions devoted to improving the quality of life for people in the D.C. area, especially organizations that reflect and embrace the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion that STC has committed to fostering. This program is not for general group reservations, school groups, or individuals. We invite all other groups to contact our Box Office at 202.547.1122 and encourage teachers to explore Student Matinees for reduced-price ticketing. Free Will group/organization reservations are subject to ticket/seat availability. Free Will FAQs How many people should my group have? To qualify for Free Will, your group should have at least 10 attendees. Can I bring young people? Yes, please!
