Groundlings Ages 9-11

Current Grades 3rd – 5th

Groundlings will be introduced to Shakespeare’s world and works and discover the art of theatre. By exploring a major theme running through Shakespeare’s cannon, participants will dive into the plot and characters of several plays. Through a variety of theatre games, design projects and collaborative performances, Groundlings will understand and interpret Shakespeare’s text. Camp will culminate with a Saturday morning showcase of scenes at the Shakespeare Theatre Company.
